High School Security Camera Captures Tulsa Tornado

Surveillance cameras were rolling at a Tulsa, Oklahoma, high school when a tornado ripped through the area early on August 6. The video shows street lamps exploding and winds blowing.

The school reported minimal damage to the campus, but there was extensive damage in a nearby neighborhood. The power also was knocked out on the campus.

The National Weather Service confirmed an EF-2 tornado with winds of 120-130 miles per hour landed in Tulsa. The tornado injured at least two dozen people. Credit: Bishop Kelley High School via Storyful
