A very rare case of a large bluish breast tumour in a female not spayed Jack Russell. Surgery revealed 90% dark brown blood-tinged fluid and 10% cystic cells.
A rare case of a blue breast tumour in a 16-year-old, not spayed Jack Russell, first seen by Dr Sing Kong Yuen who had around 40 years of veterinary practice.
I advise dog owners spaying the female dog when she is young. Spayed female dogs seldom develop breast tumours. In this case, the tumours have had spread .
Surgery and spay are the treatment options. For best survival on the operating table, I do not remove the first gigantic breast tumour and spay her at the same .
