Review:
In quite a while I heard a good number of good albums of post black metal and ambient dark metal, and Sorrow Plagues - Homecoming, always stood a bit longer in the player, maybe due to exceptionally satisfying harmonies, or just the symphonic components that give a wider expansion to this musical collection.
Into the effective blend, the vocals appear most climatic than average along the dark metal music, demonstrating the band ability to compose and play capacity for making a background melodic soundscape.
This collection brings a decent variety of solid black metal with symphonic components as British performer David Lovejoy discharges the crude hostility and its exceptionally inspiring creation of dark metal with the ethereal collection of guitars joined with the symphonic components.
The vocals on the album are great, they blend perfectly with the climate for the serenity and sounds so excellently mixed.
The very inspiring art of music depicting a wide range of conventions expressed by the music with some black metal focused parts in the tunes blended in with the harmonies you can truly appreciate: like the way the guitars on the assortment of tunes resonate delightfully.
