Relive the historic Pluto flyby with NASA released maps and videos.

The New Horizons team commemorates the two-year anniversary of Pluto and Charon flyby on July 14, 2015.

The Multispectral Visible Imaging Camera images have been enhanced and composed from compiled images taken by the spacecraft’s Long-Range Reconnaissance Imager.

The videos intend to recreate the topography detail of Pluto and its moon, Charon, showing flyovers across the nitrogen ice plains, craters, and over the highlands of the dwarf planet.

The Serenity Chasma canyon and the curious Mordor Macula polar region of Charon can also be seen in the video.

New Horizons next target is the Kuiper Belt object 2014 MU69, a destination scheduled for arrival on New Year’s Day of 2019.
