Protests erupted in Mogadishu on Monday, August 7, after Somalian security forces reportedly killed a local rickshaw driver.

Protesters gathered at the KM4 roundabout, which brings together some of the Somalian capital’s main arteries. According to local media, a group of angry protesters took over an AMISOM truck from peacekeepers.
