High winds were hampering firefighting efforts on Sunday, August 6, for a wildfire burning near Carey, Idaho, in the southern part of the state. Officials said the fire did not take out a power line as feared overnight, but that the threat remains.

The fire was first reported on Friday and had reached 15,000 acres by noon Saturday. This video was shot late Saturday evening. Credit: Blaine County Sheriff via Storyful
