Young Left-Wing Activists Target Tourists, Harass Diners and Slash Bus Tires

Socialist groups in Spain have launched an anti-tourism campaign with harassment and demonstrations targeting tourists.

A group called Arran Paisos Catalans released footage of two of stunts designed to discourage tourism. The first was on the Balearic Islands where they climbed yachts at the Marine Moll Vell pier and threw confetti at confused patrons in a restaurant. The second was when they reportedly stopped and slashes the tires of a tourist coach in Gaudi, according to ANSA med.
