4.2-Magnitude Earthquake Hits Oklahoma Town

A 4.2-magnitude earthquake shook Edmond, Oklahoma, on Thursday, August 3. It was the sixth earthquake in the area in about 24 hours.

The earthquake could be felt in Guthrie, Choctaw, Oklahoma City and Midwest City, according to a news report. The quake knocked out power for 4,600 Edmond Electric customers, about 12 percent.
