UN special envoy and Hollywood A-lister Angelina Jolie has responded to criticism over Vanity Fair's article, which described the casting process for Angelina Jolie's directorial, First They Killed My Father. Jolie spoke to Vanity Fair and explained how they used a casting game which involved giving money to poor children then taking it away, causing outrage online. But the Actor has denied that children were mistreated, saying in a statement that "I am upset that a pretend exercise in an improvisation, from an actual scene in the film, has been written about as if it was a real scenario."
