US lorry driver charged after nine died in immigrant-smuggling bid

At least nine people died after being crammed into a sweltering lorry found parked outside a Walmart supermarket in the midsummer Texas heat, authorities said on Sunday in what they described as an immigrant-smuggling attempt gone wrong.
