No way to turn off the droid bombers' missiles or ion cannons, so this was never going to be pretty. I forgot to set the number of waves to 19, so that's why there's only one wave, and to be honest, I was perfectly fine with that. The only workable strategy against droid bombers is evade, evade, evade, and try to get off some shots if one of them happens to be in front of you.
