Hot Air Balloon Makes Emergency Landing Near Highway in Snohomish, Washington

A hot-air balloon had to make an emergency landing at the intersection of Highway 9 and Highway 2 in Snohomish, Washington, on Wednesday morning.

According to the Seattle Times, heavy north-bound winds forced the balloon to make an unexpected landing in the meridian between the two highways. The six people aboard were not injured.
