Daniel Radcliffe wouldn’t have been a good Slytherin, but he is a Good Samaritan.
Despite his stardom, the Evening Standard reports that Radcliffe stopped to help a man who suffered a laceration to his face and was mugged on the streets of London.
It’s reported that Radcliffe witnessed a man in his 50s get robbed by two people riding a moped, and they also slashed the victim’s face during the process.
Evening Standard reports that police on the scene recognized Radcliffe, and said “He was a really nice bloke, a lot of stars wouldn’t have stopped to help.” We’re not sure if the victim is a fan of any of Radcliffe’s work, but we suppose a famous helping hand might have improved the terrible experience.
According to Us Magazine, Radcliffe’s people didn’t elaborate much further and just said it was a “police matter.”
Maybe Radcliffe’s next role will be a petty theft detective…
