Ok die hard Whovians, don't be getting your undies in a bunch. The fact that the Gallifreyans could change genders with their regeneration has been cannon since 2011 with Season 6, Episode 4 titled The Doctor's Wife. Yeah some of us will have to get acquainted with the new Time Lady but we had to get acquainted with every new Doctor as it was.
Sure it may disrupt your relatability for awhile, but I think most of you will be able to adjust. I think it is ok, that is, as long as the production value and quality stays the same.
I say, let's give this new thirteenth doctor a chance.
