City of Richmond Unveils Statue of Maggie Walker, First Female Bank Owner

Residents of Richmond are calling the new 10-foot-tall bronze Maggie Walker statue `awesome and beautiful.` Walker was the first woman to own a bank in America, opening the Saint Luke Penny Savings Bank in 1903.
