2018 Kawasaki KX250F First Ride Review

2017-07-14 7

Kawasaki invited us out to Cahuilla Creek MX in Anza, California to spin laps on the new 2018 KX250F model. For this year, Kawasaki changed several engine parts including the throttle body, fuel pump, cylinder head design, intake cam, and header pipe. In the suspension department, the Showa Separate Function Fork (SFF) receives new settings including a softer spring with added preload on the right fork and new compression and rebound shim settings in the left fork while the rear shock has new compression and rebound shim settings. Watch to see how the quarter liter green machine performs on the hilly terrain of Cahuilla Creek MX in this first ride impression from MX Novice rider Andrew Oldar.
