Organizers of the Women’s March on Washington were joined by hundreds of protesters on July 14 for a 17-mile march to protest against the National Rifle Association.

The march, from NRA headquarters in Virginia to the Justice Department in Washington, is part of a two-day event against gun violence.

“I want to remind the NRA, that we are community, we are family and that our lives deserve to matter,” said Carmen Perez, one of the co-chairs of the Women’s March, in a speech outside NRA headquarters. Credit: Working Families Party via Storyful
