Heavy rain triggered flash flooding near Columbus, Ohio, on Thursday, July 13. Two to 3.5 inches of rain fell within two hours, which led to the flooding, according to a news report.
Several roads were closed and others were covered with water, though passable.
A female employee at Ohio State University also was struck by lightning during the storms.
