Aircraft landing gear is the
assembly that supports the aircraft
during landing, supports it while it
is in rest on ground and helps it in
moving about on the ground.
Types of landing gear
configurations:
#1. Tricycle landing gear:
Tricycle landing gear configuration
have a nose wheel assembly and two
main wheel assemblies one on each
side of the aircraft.
#2. Conventional
landing
gear:
Conventional landing gear assembly
have two main wheel assemblies,
one on each side of the aircraft and
a tail wheel assembly.
