Delta Airlines flight 129 had quite a scare after a disruptive passenger was subdued on a flight from Seattle to Bejing. According to authorities, Joseph Daniel Hudek IV tried to open the aircraft's exit door, hitting people who tried to stop him. One flight attendant acted fast, and started breaking dessert wine bottles on the man's head, which did not faze him. Eventually passengers worked together to confine Hudek with zip ties. He was charged with interfering with a flight crew, which can lead to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
