A Seattle flight bound for Beijing turned around Thursday evening after a 23-year-old passenger from Florida assaulted a flight attendant.
Delta Flight 129 had been in the air for about 45 minutes when the passenger assaulted the flight attendant in the first-class cabin, Port of Seattle spokesman Perry Cooper said. The flight attendant and another passenger were taken to a hospital with injuries that weren’t life threatening Airport officials said they conferred with the FBI and the incident is not thought to be a national security threat.
