Astana peace talks: Fifth round ends without agreement

The fifth round of Syria peace talks in Kazakhstan has ended without agreement.

Russia had hoped to sign a deal to implement so-called de-escalation zones in Syria, and had offered to send its forces to police the areas in the coming weeks.
