Around 6 million peoples left Dhaka towards their home in urban for eid festival so this is very natural to see such situations on the transportation system of Bangladesh.

Bishwa Ijtema (or Bishsho Istema, Bengali: বিশ্ব ইজতেমা, the World or Global Congregation or Meeting) is an annual Aalmi Ijtema held at Tongi, Bangladesh by the river Turag. It is the 3rd largest Muslim congregation in the world after the Arbaeen gathering in Kerbala, Iraq and Hajj. The event focuses on prayers and supplication and does not allow political discussion. The local police estimated the number of attendees of 2007 ijtema to be 5 to 6 million in the year 2017. On that final day of Bishwa Ijtema, these type of situation arisen due to the shortage of transportation system.
