Central Government's new PF policy is being widely opposed, specially by the people from the lower middle class. Garment factory workers protested in front of the Peenya PF Office during which stones were pelted and several workers hurt. This protest spread across the city and caused massive destruction in several parts of Bangalore. 160 workers are being arrested today and the restrictive orders still persist.
