The US Coast Guard rescued four adults and a child from a boat that overturned near the Masonboro inlet of North Carolina on Wednesday, June 28.
The 22-foot boat flipped over around three miles off Wrightsville Beach, and all people were wearing life jackets when that happened.
“We are very pleased with the fact that the Wrightsville Beach crew was able to respond, rescue five people and return them safely to shore in under 40 minutes,” Coast Guard Chief Warrant Officer Keith Moore said, according to Coast Guard News.
