In season opening action the Jemison Panthers defeated crosstown foe Huntsville 72-33. The State of Alabama's reigning "Mr. Basketball" John Petty led the way with 35 points and special halftime annoucement, that he will be committing to play for the Alabama Crimson Tide next fall!
