Raiders' quarterback Derek Carr just got a whole lot richer. Oakland signed their man to a five-year, $125 million extension that will make the Fresno State QB the highest-paid NFL player in history. Carr, 26, will make $25 million a year. Compare that to Andrew Luck ($24.6M), Carson Palmer ($24.35M), Drew Brees ($24.25M) and Kirk Cousins ($23.9M). He passed for 3,937 yards and 28 touchdowns with just six interceptions last season, helping lead the Raiders to their first postseason appearance since 2002. However, Carr enters the 2017 season coming off of a broken fibula, which he suffered in week 16 last season.
