UN report: World population will surpass 9 billion by 2050

The world's population will reach 9.8 billion by 2050,
according to a UN report. Currently, there are 7.6 billion inhabitants and that number will grow up to 11.2 billion by 2100. India will become the most populated country on the planet followed by China. The number of people over the age of 60 is expected to more than double by 2050 and triple by 2100.
