Big Waves Slam Southern Alabama Shore as Tropical Storm Cindy Nears

Big waves slammed the coast of Dauphin Island, Alabama, on June 20 as Tropical Storm Cindy inched close to the US Gulf Coast.

Howling wind can also be heard in this footage shot along the Dauphin Island Bridge.

The storm was about 250 miles south-southeast of Morgan City, Alabama, with maximum sustained winds of 45 mph as of 7 pm June 20, according to NOAA.
