Iraqi military forces advanced further into Old Mosul on June 20 after capturing several small neighborhoods from Islamic State fighters on June 20. Over a dozen IS fighters were reportedly killed in the operations.
Iraqi military forces captured the Farouq, Khazraj, and Seaa neighborhoods of western Mosul, according to the Fifth Bridge of the Iraqi Counter-Terrorism Service reported.
