A large cobra slithered into a home in the Batu Pahat District of Johor, Malaysia, on June 18.
A video uploaded by Facebook user Derrick Koh shows the animal hiding under a shelf outside an apartment before it climbs onto a nearby shoe rack. The snake then wraps itself around a door frame and enters the flat through a small window above.
Koh told Malaysian newspaper The Star that the cobra was nowhere to be found in the apartment and that members of the Fire and Rescue Department also couldn’t find it. He suspected the animal left through the back windows. Credit: Derrick Koh via Storyful
