Why don't all Christians refrain from eating pork?
God commanded his people not to eat pork. And He did so for a reason. He is not a God who just barks out commands just because He likes to make rules!
He gave us a very strict diet. And if we follow it, we will live long, healthy lives. God created us. He created our bodies. As the "Manufacturer", He wrote an "Instruction Manual", and He knows best.
Besides, Jesus DID NOT eat pork. If He did, He would be immediately summoned into the Sanhedrin to give an account of His disobedience to God.
But we know that He didn't. He didn't eat pork. Actually, He is the one who gave the command not to eat pork, and He obeyed all God's commands blamelessly. If He didn't, He would be a sinner, and NOT a savior.
But we know Jesus obeyed God's law blamelessly. And He is our perfect example to follow. So... Christians, don't do what Jesus would NOT do - eat pork!
