It turned out a massive croc had not, in fact, somehow made it from Florida or Mexico to Canada.
What was actually floating in the Surrey waters was a blown commercial truck tire.
The Surrey police tweeted assurances that there is no crocodile invasion taking place. The department also noted it would be great if the tire was removed.
