ADNAN OKTAR: One loves a flower as a manifestation of God; one loves a mother as a manifestation of God; one loves a cat as a manifestation of God; one loves a woman as a manifestation of God. One loves nice scents, horses, every animal, everything as a manifestation of God. If one loves them only physically, it becomes the love of flesh; and flesh has no lovable side. God created it along with this very fact. Human is a frail creature; as a creature made of flesh, the human has no lovable side to it. It becomes lovable only as a manifestation of God. What is there to love about the flesh? It is only an organic material. There is nothing to love about flesh, bone, fat or blood. What we love is the manifestation of God.
Women should not be idolized, as they, too, are manifestations of God. It also applies for ‘idolizing man.’ Because by doing so, one simply idolizes flesh, bone, fat and blood. This is wrong. Love is for God. "Would it be alright if we repent to ourselves?" ask people. Yes it would; but it would be even better when you hear yourself say so.
