Aloo Chop is the famous snack recipe of Odisha. This recipe is perfect with a cup of tea in rainy season.


INGREDIENTS:
Potato - 2 pieces boiled and mashed,
Onion - 1 medium finely chopped,
Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tcp,
Cilantro - 1/2 cup chopped,
Green chilli - 2 chopped,
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp,
Garam masala powder - 1 tsp,
zeera powdwer – 1 tsp
Dhania-powder – 1tsp
Chhole – 2tsp
groundnut – 1tsp

Salt to taste,
Oil for fry,

METHOD:
Heat the oil in a pan, put chopped onion and fry it for 1 min.

Add ginger-garlic paste and all the dry spices mix well.

Add green chilli then mix well.

Add mashed potato and salt into the pan then mix well.

Add roasted powder and stir it continuously for 2 mins.

Turn off the flame and cool it down.

In a mix bowl put the chickpeas flour, salt and baking soda and mix with water and make a smooth batter.

Make some small sizes of balls with the potato mixture then press it and make round and flat shape.

Take one and deep into the batter then deep fry it, When it become golden brown, take out from the oil.

Serve hot with a cup of tea.
