There were clashes between Tahrir al-Sham, Failaq al-Sham and the FSA’s 13th Brigade in Maraat al-Numan, Idlib, on June 8.
Tahrir al-Sham launched an assault against Failaq al-Sham and Brigade 13 positions in the town. A Brigade 13 colonel and four FSA fighters died, local media said.
Tahrir al-Sham released a statement saying that they attacked the headquarters following assassinations carried out by Brigade 13 against Tahrir al-Sham fighters.
Tahrir al-Sham is a Sunni jihadist opposition group, formerly known as Jabhat al-Nusra. Brigade 13 is also a Sunni opposition fighting group but it is affiliated with the Free Syrian Army (FSA).
