A huge explosion at a Shandong petrochemical plant that occurred on Monday has left 8 people dead and at least nine people injured.
The accident was triggered by an explosion of a liquefied gas tanker in a loading area at the Linyi Jinyu Petrochemical Co. plant at about 1am local time, the official Xinhua News Agency reported.
