A van was reported to have struck pedestrians at London Bridge on June 3, shortly before a stabbing attack was reported in the nearby Borough Market, sparking an armed police response during which gunshots were fired, police confirmed.
At least one person was killed and several people were injured, according to the BBC citing police.
Police later said they were responding to a third incident in Vauxhall, though the the details of that incident were not known at the time of writing.
The London Bridge and Borough Market incidents prompted a large response from police and emergency services. Transport for London confirmed that several train stations in the area, including London Bridge station, were closed on the request of police.
