Fear The Walking Dead Summary
Fear the Walking Dead is a gritty drama that explores the onset of the undead apocalypse through the lens of a fractured family. Set in a city where people come to escape, shield secrets, and bury their pasts, a mysterious outbreak threatens to disrupt what little stability high school guidance counselor Madison Clark and English teacher Travis Manawa have managed to assemble.
The everyday pressure of blending two families while dealing with resentful, escapist, and strung out children takes a back seat when society begins to break down. A forced evolution, a necessary survival of the fittest takes hold, and our dysfunctional family must either reinvent themselves or embrace their darker histories.
Title says it all, In stead of being an original, sometimes scary, sometimes sad, sometimes funny show, this just feels like your standard drama, tick all the boxes show (divorced people - they will probably get back together and then one of them dies, drug addict kid - he will kick the habit but when the ratings are low he will get back on the stuff and get somebody killed or get himself killed, etc.). Horror cliché's, unlikely situations (drug addict overpowers his dealer who carries a gun ...) just make this an even worse show. I was going to give it 2 stars because I like TWD (most of the time), but it just doesn't deserve it. Maybe it'll get better over time, but I doubt it.
It was terrible, I'm a big walking dead fan... They did not pay attention to the details in this one, acting was mediocre at best. And what threw me off was the fact that he uses a over under shotgun, and it made a pump
