Police in Neuerberg, Germany, interrupted the Rock am Ring music festival and evacuated as many as 90,000 attendees on Friday, June 2, due to what was called a significant security threat, according to festival organizers and police.
Concertgoers were said to be disappointed, but departed the venue in a calm and orderly fashion, according to eyewitnesses, though some said they felt more safe there than at a nearby camping area for attendees.
The performance of at least one major act, Rammstein, was canceled due to the threat.
This video shows the moment the festival organizers announced the event would be canceled and the venue evacuated.
