A shot at a stampeding elephant backfired on a big-game trophy hunter on Friday. Theunis Botha and a group of hunters came across a group of breeding elephants in a wildlife park in Zimbabwe. The elephants charged at the hunters as soon as they noticed them. However, when another hunter shot at an elephant that lifted Botha with its trunk, the animal collapsed right on top on him, crushing him to death. The hunter was the owner of Theunis Botha Big Game Safaris which specialized in leopard and lion hunting with hounds.
