Shortly after news broke of the death of Soundgarden lead singer Chris Cornell on May 18, fans shared pictures and videos to social media taken at the 52-year-old’s final concert with his Soundgarden bandmates in Detroit, Michigan.
Footage here shows the musician interacting with the audience at Detroit’s Fox Theater. In the clip, Cornell is hyping up fans and speaking of his love of performing in Detroit, explaining, “I have bragged about Detroit crowds for 30 years, so stand the fuck up and make some noise.”
