2 dead after small plane crashes near northern New Jersey

Two crewmembers have been confirmed as dead after a Learjet 35 crashed in Carlstadt, NJ, a quarter mile from it's destination of Teterboro Airport. The Federal Aviation Administration said that the plane crashed at 3:30 p.m. while approaching one of Teterboro's runways. It was arriving from Philadelphia. No passengers were on the plane when it crashed and there are no reports of injuries on the ground. Teterboro Airport is currently closed.
