In a briefing on Wednesday, President Donald Trump defended his decision to fire FBI Director James Comey. When a reporter asked why the FBI director was fired, Trump responded that Comey “wasn’t doing a very good job.” Earlier in the day, Trump defended his actions on Twitter stating that democrats have said worst things about Comey. He also criticized Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, after Schumer told reporters Tuesday evening that Trump was “making a big mistake.”
