A possible tornado was spotted near Clovis, New Mexico, on Tuesday, May 9. The National Weather Service retweeted reports it was a confirmed tornado, but had not independently confirmed the tornado at the time of writing.
Several rural cities were under a severe thunderstorm warning, on Tuesday. Some of the thunderstorms were capable of producing tornados, according to reports.
