Hundreds of people have been forced from their homes in Gatineau, Quebec, because of flooding in the capital region with more rain expected on Saturday, May 6.
Canadian soldiers have been deployed in the area to assist those affected, according to a news report. Another 15-25 millimeters of rain were expected on Saturday, which would bring rainfall totals near 70 millimeters since the beginning of the month.
