Alanis Morissette’s ex-manager in jail for stealing over $7M

Alanis Morissette’s ex-manager was sentence to prison on Wednesday for embezzling millions from his celebrity clients. Jonathan Todd Schwartz was sentenced to six years in prison after he was found guilty for stealing more than $7 million dollars from the singer. Morissette said, “He did this in a long, systematic, drawn-out and sinister manner.” The singer also added that if the thefts continued, she would have been bankrupted within three years. It was also reported that Schwartz stole more than $1 million and $800,000 from two former clients.
