In what seems apparently the effect of revelation of MSG and lead above permissible limit in Nestle's Maggi noodles, the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India has overruled sanctions for 500 products as of 30 April 2015. These products include about 32 products from Tata Starbucks and a cereal product from Kellog's. The report mentions that the reason for the rejection of the approval has been mentioned as high levels of sugar, caramel, salt or heavy metals, caffeine and iron fillings.
