Baltimore Orioles outfielder Adam Jones was a target of racial harassment at Monday's game in Fenway Park against the Boston Red Sox. Jones told Bob Nightengale of USA Today that he was "called the N-word a handful of times" and had a fan throw a bag of peanuts at him. Red Sox officials threw the fan out of the stadium, but Jones wants more justice. "What they need to do is that instead of kicking them out of the stadium, they need to fine them 10 grand, 20 grand, 30 grand," he said. "That's how you hurt somebody. You suspend them from the stadium, what does that mean? It's a slap on the wrist." Red Sox President Sam Kennedy issued an apology to Jones and said that they are investigating the incident.
