This is the third time she has reached the on the no 1 position. Carolina has slipped one place from the top. There is also good news for India in the women's doubles as Jwala Gutta and Ashwini Ponnappa moved to number 10 from 12. In the men's singles, Parupalli Kashyap gained 2 places to be at 8th while Kidambi Srikanth lost one position to be at 4th.
